We are Architects, designers & builders. From concept to completion, we create bespoke spaces shaped by the unique needs of our clients. Your needs.
Our approach is simple, transparent, human. We talk, we listen, we get to know you.
Collaboration, connection, and innovation.
All to deliver thoughtful spaces that truly stand apart.
Our Founders and Directors
It all started in 2009, when Joe and Lizzie started on their first house extension project in Islington. We began with small-scale projects that grew into award-winning residential projects across London. Over the past 18 years, we’ve grown by continuously listening to our clients, putting their needs first, and tailoring each project to reflect their individuality.
In 2018 Pip and Deborah joined the fold, to help the studio grow to deliver construction projects and bespoke joinery. This combined leadership ensures that we have the project management and financial expertise to run complex and large-scale projects.
Our Expert Team
The Architecture team is led by Lizzie, Maija and James. Their combined experience delivering bespoke residential and commercial projects over the past 20 years, ensures that every project is nurtured from the drawing board to reality.
Our project Architects are highly skilled in delivering sensitive, thoughtful, and sustainable homes and spaces. Our Architects are all ARB registered and care greatly about each and every project they help shape and deliver.

Passive House + Enerphit
We have Passive House-certified Designers and Contractors in our studio, using their expertise to design and build projects—whether retrofit or new build—towards the principles of 'Passivhaus.'
A Passivhaus is a building designed to rigorous energy efficiency standards, maintaining a consistent, comfortable temperature with minimal heating or cooling. By combining exceptional insulation, airtight construction, and efficient ventilation, these buildings capture and retain heat from natural sunlight and everyday activities.
Older properties can also be retrofitted to follow these principles, though achieving the same insulation levels as a purpose-built Passivhaus can be challenging. For these projects, the EnerPHit standard offers a tailored approach, ensuring existing buildings meet high energy performance standards while respecting their unique constraints.
What sets us apart
Creativity
We find it impossible not to be inspired by the people we design for and the buildings they share with us. Storytelling through spaces is what we love to do.
Capability
Details. To us, they’re everything. And we learned long ago that great design can only be truly realised with great build. From conception to creation, we’re in control of every detail.
Care
Before we sketch, craft of build or finish. We listen. To us, great design is when it means something to you. We don’t design for us, we design for you.
Chartered
As one of the few RIBA Chartered design and build companies in the UK, we bring trusted expertise to every project.
